China Outraged by US Attempts to Restrain Its Technologies

In recent years, the United States has introduced a number of restrictive measures against the semiconductor manufacturing and artificial intelligence sectors in China, which can be seen as an attempt to suppress the development of high-tech industries in the country.

This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.

Beijing has complained that such protectionist and discriminatory actions are damaging to China’s interests and undermine the stability of the global production and supply chain in the semiconductor industry.

This protest to Washington was made against the backdrop of the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into the import of certain analog integrated circuits produced in the United States.

All activities must be completed by September 13, 2026. In the coming days, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China He Lifeng will lead a Chinese delegation to visit Spain. There, among other activities, he will hold trade, tariff, and TikTok platform negotiations with the American side.
