The Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces will visit Azerbaijan

The Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan.

As reported by Report, during the visit, Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu will participate in a memorial ceremony to be held at Turkish and Azerbaijani burial sites, dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the arrival of the Caucasian Islamic Army under the command of Nuri Pasha in Baku and the liberation of the city from Bolshevik occupation.

Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, noted that the planned visit of Army General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu will contribute to further strengthening the ties between the armies of the two countries.
