The Embassy of Sweden in Baku thanked the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev for a fruitful discussion.

“Thank you very much to the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev for a fruitful discussion on the further development of Azerbaijan’s partnership with NATO and on a broader regional agenda.
In 2025-2026, the embassies of Slovakia and Sweden in Baku are fulfilling the role of NATO contact embassies in Azerbaijan,” the publication says.
It should be noted that the meeting was attended by the Ambassadors of Sweden and Slovakia in Baku, Tobias Lorentzson and Elchin Gasimov.
