Qatar owns 20% of the real estate on the central street of Paris – the Champs-Élysées.

After examining the cadastral data, the newspaper Le Monde established that one-fifth of the prestigious Parisian boulevard belongs to the small monarchy of the Persian Gulf.

More than 390 meters out of 1.3 kilometers of the Champs-Élysées belong to Qatar, or more precisely, to Qatari families or funds, which accounts for more than 20% of “the most beautiful avenue in the world”.

“Qatar is investing significant funds because the buildings on the Champs-Élysées are expensive and provide good returns.

This is very sought-after real estate and the best of safe investments,” says Christian Dubois, director of the commercial real estate department in France at Cushman & Wakefield, a major commercial real estate company.
