Positive trade balance of Azerbaijan in foreign trade for January-August 2025 amounted to $2,012,702,770, which is 2.7 times less than the figure for the corresponding period of the previous year.
As reported by Caliber.Az, this was reported by the State Customs Committee (SCC).
In general, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan increased by 3.6% compared to January-August 2024, amounting to $32,118,004,830.
At the same time, exports amounted to $17,065,353,800 (a decrease of 6.4%), imports — $15,052,651,030 (an increase of 17.9%).
In January-August 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with 173 foreign countries (January-August 2024 — 172 countries).
At the same time, the number of participants in Azerbaijan’s foreign economic activity amounted to 54,013 individuals and legal entities (January-August 2024 — 50,851).
