In Istanbul, TEKNOFEST – the world’s largest festival dedicated to aviation, space, and high technology – has started for the 13th time. The event, held at the Atatürk Airport, is attracting record attention: more than a million participants will compete for a prize pool exceeding 65 million Turkish liras.
This year, over 1.1 million people expressed the desire to turn their technological dreams into reality, forming more than 565,000 applicant teams. This incredible excitement confirms TEKNOFEST’s status as one of the key global platforms for young innovators, engineers, and developers.
The central event of the festival will be the technology competitions, covering 58 main and 137 subcategories in critical industries. In addition to prize money for the winners, the organizers provide significant support in the early stages: teams that have passed the preliminary selection will receive financial assistance totaling more than 85 million Turkish liras to develop their projects.
