By next April, it is planned to attract 70,000 people in Azerbaijan to the Coursera educational platform — one of the largest online learning systems in the world.
This was reported by Report citing a statement by the Executive Director of 4SIM, Fariz Jafarov, on the second day of the I Azerbaijani International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) in Baku.
According to him, over the past 4 months, more than 30,000 Azerbaijani citizens have received about 63,000 certificates.
“This platform helps to eliminate skills gaps in the shortest possible time. Overall, these initiatives are just a part of 4SIM’s strategic programs. Within the framework of the digital economy strategy, the implementation of more than 50 initiatives is planned, which will create additional value both in terms of contribution to GDP and growth of companies, as well as attracting international investments and talents to the country,” Jafarov said.
