Baku and Ankara Discuss New Opportunities in Education

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Turkey’s Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of strategic partnership between the two countries in all areas, including the education sector. It was noted that starting from the next academic year, an Azerbaijani school will be opened in Istanbul.

The Turkish minister’s visit to Karabakh University and schools in the cities of Shusha, Fuzuli, and Aghdam was noted with satisfaction.

The parties emphasized the importance of documents signed during the visit on cooperation in the fields of education and vocational education.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation in education, including vocational education, the activities of the Turkish-Azerbaijani University, and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
