Drones struck one of the large oil refineries in southern Russia

On the night of September 26, drones struck the Afipsky Oil Refinery (NPZ) in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, resulting in a fire at one of the facilities.

As Unian reports, the Operational Headquarters of Krasnodar Krai stated that “drone debris fell on one of the Afipsky NPZ facilities, causing a fire covering an area of 30 sq m”.

Notably, this refinery supplies diesel fuel and gasoline to the Russian army fighting against Ukraine. Its annual processing volume is 6.25 million tons of oil per year.
