The Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez expressed serious concern about the policy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to Sanchez, the current actions of the Israeli leader provoke even greater political instability in the Middle Eastern region, which, in turn, could create fertile ground for future terrorism.
Sanchez suggested that Netanyahu’s strategy may be aimed at forming a sense of security threat within Israeli society. This, he believes, could justify Israel’s actions not only in the Gaza Strip but also regarding the occupation of the West Bank.
The Spanish Prime Minister emphasized that the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East has direct geopolitical consequences not only for the region but also for Spain and the entire south of Europe.
