September 27 – Memorial Day: Milli Mejlis Will Adopt a Statement

The Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan will adopt a statement on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of September 27 – Remembrance Day.

As reported by Report, this document has been included in the agenda of the first plenary session of the autumn parliamentary session, which is taking place today.

Remembrance Day was established by decree of President Ilham Aliyev in December 2020 to commemorate the memory of servicemen who died during the 44-day Patriotic War.

It is worth noting that the agenda of today’s plenary session includes the discussion of 12 issues.
