Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, who is on a working visit to Berlin, met with Geza Andreas von Gayer, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, on September 12.

During the meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council presented the results of the agreements signed in Washington and the economic opportunities being created.
The State Secretary, in turn, highly appreciated the efforts of the Armenian government aimed at ensuring stable and long-term peace in the region.
The interlocutors discussed the agenda for the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Germany. In particular, new opportunities for economic cooperation that have arisen as a result of the lifting of the blockade and readiness for cooperation in this direction were discussed. Issues of cooperation in the energy sector and other items on the agenda were also discussed.
