Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Ilham Aliyev on the results achieved in Washington regarding the peaceful agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Thanking for the congratulations, Ilham Aliyev noted that the steps taken to advance the peaceful agenda are of historic significance. The head of our state emphasized that Azerbaijan will continue efforts to ensure sustainable peace in the region.
The meeting noted Azerbaijan’s humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, particularly the attention and care towards Ukrainian children. The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude for this.
During the conversation, there was an exchange of opinions on cooperation in the energy sector.
