AZAL Plane Crash: Prosecutor General Reports on Progress of International Investigation

The investigation of the criminal case initiated regarding the crash of the AZAL airline aircraft is in an active phase. The Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev shared current information about the case status.

The head of the supervisory agency emphasized that clarifying the causes of the tragedy is being conducted in the format of international cooperation. According to him, the work is being carried out through joint efforts of specialists from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

Kamran Aliyev expressed confidence that close interaction between the law enforcement agencies of the three countries will allow the investigation to be brought to a logical conclusion and establish all the circumstances of what occurred.
