Azerbaijan and China are discussing new prospects for the development of military cooperation. For this purpose, a delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan led by Colonel General Zakir Hasanov is on a working visit to Beijing.
The visit is taking place at the official invitation of the Minister of National Defense of the PRC, Admiral Dong Jun. During the meetings, it is planned to discuss the key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the defense sphere and to determine the directions for its further deepening.
In addition to bilateral negotiations, the Azerbaijani delegation will take part in the prestigious 12th Xiangshan Forum, which is one of the leading Asian platforms for dialogue on security issues. Participation in the forum will allow presenting Azerbaijan’s position on regional stability issues and getting acquainted with global trends in defense policy.
