In the short and medium term, Azerbaijan will certainly strengthen its position in the European market.
As reported by Report, this was stated by the head of the mission of the Organization of Turkic States representation in Hungary, Balazs Hendry, at the I Azerbaijani International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) in Baku.
He noted that with a realistic assessment of the capabilities of the Middle Corridor, it will turn into a promising direction.
Hendry emphasized that the majority of the world’s water reserves are used in agriculture, which brings the issue of water resources management to the forefront. According to him, the water issue is of a regional nature, since rivers cross borders, and therefore water diplomacy is of particular importance.
He added that for landlocked countries like Hungary, effective water management is vital, and the search for solutions for the most efficient use of water and agricultural potential requires cooperation with suppliers and technology developers.
