SOCAR Strengthens Positions in Europe: Landmark Agreement Signed in Baku

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov participated in the signing ceremony of the share purchase agreement between SOCAR and Italiana Petroli S.p.A. and MIP S.p.A.

“We participated in the signing ceremony of the share purchase agreement between SOCAR and Italiana Petroli S.p.A. and MIP S.p.A. within the framework of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in Baku. This landmark agreement will play a key role in strengthening Azerbaijan’s contribution to global energy security, ensuring direct access to the European market, expanding the value creation chain, and reinforcing logistical advantages.

This cooperation demonstrates Azerbaijan’s growing influence as an international investor and its expanding role in shaping the global energy architecture,” wrote Jabbarov.
