In order to improve the professional level of psychologists serving in the Azerbaijani army, a training session on “Psychological Assessment Procedures” was conducted at the Institute of Military Management of the National Defense University.
As reported to Caliber.Az by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan during the training, which was conducted with the participation of specialists invited from Bulgaria, detailed information was provided about psychological assessment procedures, methods of determining the psychological state of recruits upon their entry into the army, as well as ways of diagnosing and studying traumas that military personnel may encounter during their service.
In addition, participants were presented with information about mechanisms and practical methods used by psychologists in the Bulgarian army.
The training, dedicated to assessing the psychological suitability of military personnel throughout their entire service period, was conducted in an interactive format. Participants consolidated the knowledge gained through practical exercises.
