US Special Representative Kit Kellogg stated that his previous words about the possible transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine do not reflect internal decisions in Washington. At the same time, he emphasized that the use of these missiles could significantly change the course of the war.
As reported by The Guardian, speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, Kellogg noted that he was only talking about public statements about providing Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine and has no internal information about the process or final decision.
At the same time, he emphasized the significance of Tomahawk, calling them a “very advanced missile system”.
The US Special Representative also noted that if permission for their use is granted, this would “change the dynamics of any military conflict” due to adding another level of “uncertainty” through their capabilities.
