In Azerbaijan, the volume of petroleum products in monetary terms for January-August 2025 amounted to 3 billion 562.5 million manats, which is 0.1% less than the corresponding period of 2024.
According to the data, the volume of automotive gasoline produced in January-August 2025 was 946.4 thousand tons (a decrease of 2.8%), kerosene – 463.1 thousand tons (an increase of 7.5%).
In addition, during the reporting period, the production of gas oils (diesel fuel) was 1 million 628.8 thousand tons (an increase of 4.1%), fuel oil – 57.6 thousand tons (an increase of 2.2 times), lubricating oils – 25.1 thousand tons (a decrease of 42.8%), liquefied gases – 150.9 thousand tons (an increase of 13.9%), petroleum bitumen – 159.5 thousand tons (a decrease of 9.3%), petroleum coke – 149.8 thousand tons (an increase of 8.2%).
As of September 1, 2025, warehouses contained 53.2 thousand tons of automotive gasoline, 49.9 thousand tons of kerosene, 158 thousand tons of gas oils, 1.6 thousand tons of fuel oil, 1.8 thousand tons of lubricating oils, 1.5 thousand tons of liquefied gases, 8.6 thousand tons of petroleum bitumen, and 48.6 thousand tons of petroleum coke.
Moreover, according to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan exported 438 thousand 660.24 tons of various petroleum products during the reporting period, which is 3.6% more than the same period in 2024. The value of exported products was 233 million 305.78 thousand US dollars (a decrease of 15%). The share of product exports during the reporting period was 1.37% of Azerbaijan’s total exports (1.5% in January-August 2024).
Also, 125 thousand 203.71 tons of petroleum coke (a decrease of 20.2%) were exported for 38 million 337.15 thousand US dollars (an increase of 2.9 times), as well as 4 thousand 290.61 tons of petroleum bitumen (an increase of 4.7 times) for 1 million 122.31 thousand US dollars (an increase of 6.6 times).
