Peace Plan for Gaza Under Threat: Israel Introduces Amendments Blurring the Essence of the Agreement

The initiative to resolve the conflict in the Gaza sector has encountered serious obstacles. The Israeli side has made significant amendments to the peace plan proposed by the United States, which, according to sources close to the negotiations, cast doubt on the very possibility of its implementation.

It is reported that as a result of recent changes, the key mechanisms for implementing the agreement have become vague and uncertain. While the original document contained 21 clear points, their interpretation and coordination are now extremely difficult.

At present, clarity remains only on two issues: the release of Israeli hostages and the organization of humanitarian aid supplies to the Gaza sector. Other aspects of the plan concerning long-term ceasefire and subsequent steps have lost their specificity.

Such edits effectively undermine the foundation of the entire agreement. Sources characterize the situation as a step that makes the implementation of the peace initiative practically impossible, transforming a clear action plan into a document with numerous ambiguous formulations.
