Qatar’s Foreign Minister: Israel’s Actions Threaten Regional Security

The entire Arab world believes that US President Donald Trump is the “only one” who can contribute to peace and restrain Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

This was stated in an interview with Breitbart News by Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

“We do not see anyone who could stop him except President Trump,” Al Thani said.

Al Thani emphasized that Israel’s actions not only “threaten the security of the region” but also “the interests of the United States in the region and the partnerships that the US has been building in this region for decades”.

He noted that Trump is “very receptive” and “wants to work together with them to find a solution”.

All peace efforts “must begin with Gaza – stop the war in Gaza and develop from there,” he said, adding that Netanyahu “creates conditions for the region where he has no boundaries or red lines”.

Al Thani told Breitbart News that Arab leaders maintain hope that Trump will be able to end the conflict. “We still hope,” he said, noting that the words of the president he heard during their meeting on Tuesday were “very encouraging”.
