The incident began with numerous calls from worried residents of Bornholm Island to the police. People reported observing unusual flying objects in the sky.

A local police representative, Thomas Elsgaard, confirmed the military activity. According to him, fighters were seen flying over the island before changing course and returning to base.

At the moment, Danish armed forces continue to conduct intensive surveillance of the airspace. The main task is to collect information and analyze the situation to ensure the protection of the country’s sovereignty and maritime infrastructure.
