Baku and Tehran discussed the Araz Corridor project PHOTO

During his visit to Iran, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev met with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Larijani.

As reported by AZERTAC in the Cabinet of Ministers, Shahin Mustafayev congratulated the new Secretary of the Supreme Council on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues of economic cooperation and regional security, the importance of the North-South and East-West transport corridors, including the Araz corridor project being implemented between Azerbaijan and Iran, as well as other joint projects, was emphasized.
