In Western political and expert circles, the need to form a unified strategy aimed at demonstrating to the Kremlin the futility of its current course is being actively discussed. The proposed comprehensive approach includes three key areas: economic, military, and military-technical.
According to this concept, the first step should be a powerful blow to Russia’s energy exports. It is proposed to launch a coordinated campaign to displace Russian oil and natural gas from global markets in order to deprive Moscow of its main source of financing.
The second direction is strengthening NATO’s military security. This part of the plan provides for a tough and immediate response by the North Atlantic Alliance to any future provocations or violations of member countries’ air borders by Russia.
Finally, the third component of the strategy is active military support for Ukraine. The necessity of providing Kyiv with such weapons that will not only contain the onslaught but also seize the initiative, forcing Russian troops to take defensive positions, is emphasized.
Thus, the proposed plan combines maximum economic pressure, direct military deterrence, and strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
