The meeting between the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the leader of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, took place. The focus of the negotiations was on ways to achieve peace, as well as the prospects for economic cooperation, including the participation of Kazakh businesses in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the main task at the current stage is to achieve a just and lasting peace, supported by reliable security guarantees. The leaders of the two countries discussed international efforts aimed at ending the conflict, with the participation of Ukraine, the United States, Europe, and other global partners.
In addition to the political agenda, significant attention was paid to trade and economic cooperation. The interest of companies from Kazakhstan in future projects for the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure was discussed separately.
In conclusion, the Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for its consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
