General of the Army Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, has arrived in Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu participated in a ceremony commemorating the 107th anniversary of the arrival of the Caucasian Islamic Army under the command of Nuri Pasha in Baku and the liberation of the city from Bolshevik occupation.
Earlier, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, noted that the visit of General of the Army Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu will contribute to the further strengthening of ties between the armies of the two countries.
A ceremony was held at the Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery on the 107th anniversary of the liberation of Baku
