The village of Meysari in the Shamakhi region became the venue for a colorful and unforgettable festival for two days, during which there were tastings of a variety of wine products from local and foreign producers. This product, combining exquisite taste, long-standing traditions, and tremendous effort, aroused the lively interest of visitors.

According to AZERTAC, the program of the current festival was also filled with educational and entertaining events related to viticulture and winemaking, as well as the country’s tourism potential. The goal is to preserve the ancient traditions of viticulture and winemaking in our country, to inform the general public about the work done in this area, and to demonstrate export opportunities and prospects for entering new markets.

Various exhibitions, pavilions of popular restaurants, and works of artists on the theme of viticulture were organized in the festival area. All this created a truly unique atmosphere where taste and art merged.

The first day of the event began with a specially prepared show. The melodies in the style of retro and jazz compositions that sounded from the stage, and then the lively pop music, conquered the audience, and the Latin American rhythms turned the festival into a real celebration of dance and entertainment.

The second day of the festival was also remembered for its bright program. It was opened by Sevanna, a young performer in the genre of modern pop music, distinguished by her recognizable voice and unusual stage performance. The performance of the talented saxophonist Teymur Suleimanbeyli with his musical group Suleymanbeyli Group and, in particular, the group’s soloist Nazrin, also left unforgettable impressions. The rhythmic and dynamic nature of the festival was added by the performances of Elnur Huseynov, who represented Azerbaijan twice at Eurovision and won the competition The Voice Türkiye; another Eurovision participant, the guest of both days of the festival Nigar Jamal, popular singer Samir Piriyev, the Mexican Band group playing music in the Mexican and samba styles; popular pop singer Nura Suri, Khumai Aslanova, People’s Artist Tunzale Agayeva, known for her folk-jazz performances; and young DJ Kamo.

Visitors were able not only to get acquainted with the wine production process and the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, but also to participate in various games.

Entertainment games and interactive programs organized for children and youth emphasized the family orientation of the festival.

The Grape and Wine Festival, organized for the fourth time, has already become a significant platform for wine producers, providing them with opportunities to establish new business connections, promote their products to a wide audience, and demonstrate Azerbaijan’s potential in this field at the international level.

It should be noted that the festival started on September 13. The opening ceremony of this grand event, organized by the Executive Authority of the Shamakhi region, the Abgora restaurant, and the Nasimi Baglary complex, was attended by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, the Minister of Agriculture Mujnun Mammadov, and other officials.

The festival, held against the backdrop of the endless gardens of Shamakhi, breathed new life into both the economic and cultural life of the region and gave the guests a sense of celebration.
