The return of the death penalty in Russia is impossible, and the position of the state on this issue is unambiguous.

As TASS reports, this was stated by the Prosecutor General of Russia, Igor Krasnov, speaking at a committee meeting in the Federation Council.

“My opinion is unambiguous: this is impossible, and the position of the state on this issue is final. It is based on the fundamental decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation,” he said.
